MOTOCraftz PPF – Warranty Terms and Coverage 

MOTOCraftz PPFs come with limited warranty coverage against Cracking & Flaking, Bubbling & Boiling, and Yellowing. 

A warranty claim is valid post the verification of Invoice or claim by the Authorized MOTOCraftz PPF installer on behalf of an existing customer with the required documentation of the work performed on the customer’s vehicle.

Post Application – Wash and Care 

Post our first wash, customer is advised to follow steps and measures for proper Wash & Care of a vehicle.

This would aid to achieve better and long-lasting results & performance of Ceramic/ PPF Product as well as its applications.

1. While washing always rinse the vehicle with water first (Running water / Pressure Wash / Bucket & Mug / Garden Pressure pumps can be used) — Dry wiping, wet cloth wiping or dusting on Dry Vehicle surface should be avoided
2. If direct water source is not available, arrange bucket & mug Or a 2 ltr. gardening pressure/spray pump and use/ spray water on the body basis the condition of the vehicle.
3. If you are not getting the desired results, follow it up with shampoo wash (PH Neutral/ zero autowash shampoos).
4. Follow the proper washing technique; Go from Top to Bottom wash/ cleaning Or you can go panel by panel.
5. Use min. 340 gsm microfiber cloth (40*40 or 60*40 size) for washing & cleaning for better results.
6. Use separate cloth for different surfaces – Like Paint, Glass, Plastic and Alloys
7. Don’t leave water to dry on the body – Tap dry the surface to avoid any water mark/ scale challenges.
8. Advised to Wash alternate days or twice in a week, if the car is being used daily. Plan morning – evening wash.
9. It’s advised to get professional foam car wash & care once in a month or fortnight, depending up on your vehicle usage, travel, weather, up keep and condition. During the wash PPF edges on Doors, Bumpers, Boot and Fenders must be avoided from direct pressure wash impact. It’s advised not to go for automatic/ machine car wash.
10. Don’t leave the water on your vehicle to self-dry, this may lead to Water spots. Always completely tap dry the car (with Microfiber cloth) after the wash is completed.
11. Avoid any machine polish, rubbing, sanding work on coated/ ppf surfaces, unless advised & performed by authorized detailer & professional.
12. Avoid chemical, petrol, diesel wash. Tell same to your car/bike dealership/ service center.
13. Wipe of chemical exposures as soon as you see it – Anything like Bird Droppings, Tree sap & gum, Bug poop, Paint/ Cement, Salt water, etc. If not getting results, contact your Detailer at the earliest for help/ advise.
14. You may apply non greasy, spray wax/ polish (Turtle/ Sonax/ 3M/ etc.) on Painted parts, as suitable for Ceramic or PPF, every 2-3 months after washing and cleaning the vehicle thoroughly. Advised to consult your Detailer/ Applicator before starting these DIY methods. Use foam applicators to apply and settle it uniformly in circular motions with a clean microfiber cloth after 2-3 mins or advised by the brand. No machine or polish or rubbing unless advised and performed by your detailer and applicator.
15. It’s advised not to cover the vehicle with any top cover as this may result in scratches from hidden dust particles on either of the surfaces.

Please note that in a scenario of Failing to Follow above care and maintenance steps, it may result in wear and tear of the surface in form of tough water spots, edges peeling off, stains, swirl marks, dulling, fading, etc.

Warranty Coverage Exceptions

The warranty scope does not cover or compensate installer or customer for any product or financial claim, loss, damage, resulting to the PPF, Ceramic Coating or Application from any one or more of the following actions or events or negligence.

1. Not following the above Wash & Care instructions
2. General wear and tear
3. Any natural or situational or physical accidental impact (from external source or error)
4. Mischief/ manually peeling up PPF product/ application or manually scratching/ mishandling of the product or Intended damage
5. Usage of unapproved, low quality, applications like cleaning chemicals, solvents, ceramic, teflon, wax etc.
6. Contamination because of Petrol, Diesel, Bird Dropping, Bug Splatter, Tree Sap & Gum, etc. related exposures
7. PPF Product applied on repainted panels or vehicles. Does not cover manufacturing defect and impurities on Paintwork.
8. Usage of Rubbing and Polishing by hand or a machine on PPF Surface

Please note that the degradation of products and materials with time due to climate conditions, wash and usage, product aging are natural and unavoidable phenomenon. It may reflect in slight and progressive change in the appearance, transparency and brightness, as well as a slight peeling off at the edges (not in every case) are few of the expected outcomes, which do not fall within the scope of this warranty.
